Happy Monday gorgeous, Reader!

Let me tell you about the wild ride I've been on since hitting Gulf Shores last Tuesday! Mother Nature apparently decided to give me some sort of Alabama welcome package - and honey, I did NOT sign up for this! 🌪️😱

First night? Tornado watch until 10pm. Like, excuse me? I came for beach vibes, not storm-chasing drama! (Thank goodness no twisters crashed the party.)

But wait, there's more! Saturday night rolled around and Mother Nature said "Hold my beer" - Tish needs another tornado watch... except this one did end up unleashing absolute CHAOS around us (it was NOT a tornado but some wicked storms)!

Picture this: Our house was literally doing the cha-cha, shaking so hard I thought I was having a nervous breakdown (well I mean I kind of was lol)! (Plot twist: it wasn't just in my head - my parents felt it too! 😅)

The patio furniture? Decided to rearrange itself like some possessed HGTV show. One chair got so excited it dove straight into the pool! Palm tree pieces and branches were having their own little parade across the yard, down the road, around town, and trash cans were rolling down the street like they were training for the Olympics.

Your girl didn't get to catch any Z's until 5-something in the morning. Like, seriously? I came here for R&R, not a weather version of The Amazing Race! 🤣

At this point, I am ONE THOUSAND PERCENT done with these "weather adventures." Next time, I'm packing a meteorologist in my suitcase! 🫣 🤣

Alright, let's put a pin in all that weather drama and talk about my NEXT adventure in frustration... 🙄

I recorded this heartfelt video last Wednesday about that big decision I made. BUT the WiFi here is acting like it's running on hamster power! Three. Whole. Days. I tried uploading this thing to Dropbox! Finally managed to sneak it up during a Walmart run (because apparently, Walmart has better internet than my vacation rental - make it make sense! 🤦‍♀️ Kidding aside, I wasn't using Walmart internet - it was just the data on my phone; however that works because even that wouldn't work at the vacation house).

But the tech gods weren't done with me yet! Turns out my phone's speaking .mov and my editing software's only listening in .mp4. It's like they're having a communication breakdown and I'm the unfortunate translator!

So here's my SOS: Anyone know a good file converter? (Free would be fabulous because ya girl rarely needs this - my trusty webcam usually keeps things drama-free). My old Chrome Extension ghosted me and discontinued the file converter I would use on rare instances I needed it, so I'm in the market for a new one!

If I can't find a file converter, looks like I'm moving on to Plan B: blog post edition! Sorry for keeping you in suspense with my vague-booking - trust me, I had NO IDEA sharing a simple video would turn into a whole tech soap opera! 🎭

But for now? This girl's off to get her vitamin D fix! ☀️
